The nearest airport to Makarska is Split airport. When you get to the Split airport you can get one of the connecting buses to Split Bus station. From there, you can take a wide selection of buses to your final destination on Makarska Riviera. Travel times from Split to some destinations on Makarska Riviera are; Makarska 1 hour and 15 minutes, Baska Voda 1 hour, Tucepi 1 hour 20 minutes etc.

There is a ferry line from Makarska to Sumartin on the island Brac which goes a few times a day during the summer season.
